ITW Polymer Castings manufactures polymer structures using formulated composite materials specifically designed for casting machine bases. The polymer composite is a blend of quartz aggregate, formulated epoxy resin and selected additives.
ITW Polymer Castings products provide many advantages over conventional materials such as iron, aluminum and steel that are traditionally used in the manufacture of machine bases. Castings can be manufactured to finished tolerances and the resulting unit will outperform alternative materials in many ways - particularly where design flexibility, vibration damping, chemical resistance are considerations.
